Representative of Wendover Parish Council and The Wendover Society met Sir John Randall, Environmental Advisor to the Prime Minister, at Downing Street, on 27th November 2017 to discuss the impact of HS2 Phase 1 on the Buckinghamshire Market Town. Michael Byng (centre), attended the meeting to advise on the costs of mitigating or removing the environmental damage to the town, through a revised construction proposal for the route through the area, which would reduce the capital cost of HS2 Phase 1 and the time to deliver the project.
